My chocolate frosting

This is off the Hershey container. Yes, on the diet we can use Hershey's cocoa. Here is how I make it;

1/2 cup spectrum shortening (melted) or 1/4 cup coconut oil
2/3 cups Hershey's Cocoa
3 cups powered sugar
1/3 cup rice milk
1 tsp. gf vanilla

Mix all together. I find I have to melt the shortening or I have white lumps. I usually add the milk last because I don't want to add too much. Enjoy

do you have to sift the sugar when you put it in? I kind of get lumpy frosting but I use the corn-free kind so maybe that is why? I dunno. My frosting sucks.

Huh, do you melt the shortening? I find I have to melt the shortening. Do you use a mixer or is it by hand? I always use my mixer. If you do all that and get lumps and yes sift. I think I have had lumps once?
